Surrender and Win With Jesus…
surrender. strange word for the world today. we have grown accustomed to the idea of struggling, fighting, breaking heights and doing things “MY WAY”. I am guilty of that. Yet, we should surrender ourselves to God. Not once, but countless times in a day. Our thoughts wander, our heart fumbles, our eyes desire things. If we think we are invincible from the world, we should stop in a corner and think hard about it. God is our bastion from all the darts that the devil hurls at us. The Bible didn’t say to fight those temptations, but that we should watch in prayer and run away from temptations. I am young and it is never easy to resist those “pokes and tickles”. Still, I feel that before giving in to those temptations, there is a moment of choice-a peculiar feeling, a nudge. Those are the crucial moments when, most of the time, I close my eyes and fall headlong into sin. Surrender. That is one word that should be carved deep into my mind. Forgive me, LORD. Please make me the man that you want me to be.
